On the northeast corner of Market and River streets was a tavern owned by Thomas Wright and kept by Mr. On the northeast corner of Market and River streets was the residence of Rozet and Doyle. Rozet had a daughter, Janet, who had red hair. Rozet and Doyle gave place to Joseph and Jacob Sinton in 1803 - 1804. The next building was the printing office of the Luzerne Federalist, published by Charles Miner. Next was the residence of Peleg Tracy.
