Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Early this morning I rode my bike to this spot and took a few pictures. When I got home I made a quick black and white value sketch, stretched some watercolor paper and when it was dry masked out the areas I wanted to keep white. I then poured liquid watercolor over the paper. First yellow, then red and finally blue. Here it is with the mask removed. Saturday, April 26, 2014. 1 I can do more than I think I can.

Monday, January 28, 2013. Owl Be There For You. I think we are going to see a lot more of his work in the future! His writing is light, flowing and although the text is not written in a rhyme there seems to be a rhythm to his work. Set for release late summer 2013.

Tue, Aug 11, 2015. Yesterday I saw this painting of the pennypack creek by my uncle Stan, yet another of my mentor artist relatives. He must have painted this decades ago but I do remember the art lessons he gave me when I was 12. Meaning see more colors not some basic color.
Tuesday, February 18, 2014. I have been thinking about bears and wolves mostly. This guy was fun to paint. Usually I leave the background for last and then struggle with what to do with it. This time I decided to jump right in and lay in the background first.
