With the exception of Nolans Batman series, I find most comic book films to be bland, samey, tedious, or uninspired. I wasnt terribly impressed with Avengers and never even saw any of the origin films or Age of Ultron. I did. So even if those risks arent taken, the film never feels like a foregone conclusion.
