Last week end I drove my car to San Antonio and met Ayden, my granddaughter, and my daughter-in-law, Jennifer, in SA. Ayden had to participate in a championship cheer leading competition. What a hoot that was! When 2 days were over everyone was dead tired from either watching the cheerleaders or being a cheerleader.
Saturday, February 1, 2014. It has been pointed out to me that Hailey has not been prominently featured in several of the last posts, so she decided that she would be a lot more visible today! We decided to do some bird watching, both in camp and across the state line. With miles and miles of dry desert all around, it is certainly a popular place for birds to hang out for the winter.

Just winging it as we go! Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Time has gone so fast since we arrived here in Lander Wyoming. Since we have been here we were able to visit the Tetons. And us traveled to the Tetons to have lunch with Al and Karen. Other full-timers that are working in and around Yellowstone. We had a great visit and the views of the mountains were spectacular. It is one quarter mile from the Sinks to the Rise aboveground.

Not all those who wander are lost. Sunday, February 10, 2013. Almost an entire year has gone by without any words uttered by either Jesse or I on this blog. Over the past year, so many life decisions have been made and our life together is taking a new direction. We decided back in November that our time overseas needed to come to an end. Mixed feelings definitely abound while we try to rationalize with ourselves this incredible change of lifestyle. This last one may be my favorite of all.
