A twisted ankle awaits the unwary as the terrain is a large flat peaty area criss-crossed with may little streams. Getting through with dry feet is a challenge in itself. Bowfell standing guard at the head of the valley. From here the route crosses the old Lingco.
Wander the hills , and camp in high places. Friday, 30 December 2016. Moel Hebog and Moel ddu from Beddgelert. A few days into my Christmas break, I planned a quick outing to Snowdonia , a couple of days walking a cicuit from Beddgelert was the the perfect opportunity to walk off the Christmas excesses. My route was to take me onto Moel Hebog then out to Moel-ddu , then return via Cwm Oerddwr and the Aberglasyn Pass back to Beddgelert. Lower crags on Moel Hebog.

Monday, 10 August 2015. Hartsop 8th August 2 nite wild camp. Monday, 3 August 2015. A walk from Grasmere over the tops to Pike o Stickle and then back again. I thought id posted this vid before but couldnt see it,so here it is a trip across the middle of the Lakes and back.Weather was ok just a bit windy most of the day and nite.Lee and Ste Mack came along too.
