And wonderful beauty and colour in small and large rock pools. From deep purples, pale pinks, emerald and olive greens, yellows, browns. Reds, black, white. All thats missing, is a mermaid. Last weekend we took a trip down to San Diego to watch the Oregon State University Beavers play a football game. Between Thousand Oaks and San Diego is Mission San Juan Capistrano. So on our way home we stopped in. If you have the time it is fun to travel the El Camino Real. And visit all the missions. Was also taking place at the Mission.
Tuesday, April 13, 2010. My son Sean brought my Granddaughters for Easter! I was one happy camper. We had a wonderful week. We played and then we played some more. We did everything from fish to swim. But being Easter, we had to color eggs. The girls loved it and so did Gramma. With such a serious face . AND we did not spill one container - which I thought was an accomplishment.

There was water play, and sand castles built, sandy sandwiches to eat, and seagulls constantly lurking. There was also a lot of wind. Mark and Matthew made a blanket-tent. I took a peek inside-.
