Walking Thru the Woods. Monday, October 4, 2010. Wildlife on the Blackstone River. The heron seemed to think it was well disguised to it didnt fly away at first. It actually appeared at various places on the river. At times it was really hard to see. These deer appeared at the edge of the river much to the delight of everyone on the boat.
