Friday, August 18, 2017. I recognized the look on their faces, these new-to-the-school moms, rushing their tiny ones through the masses of excited children in the halls. Trying to keep up, holding a tiny hand for one last time this summer, as they dart in and out of a sea of backpacks and Kleenex boxes and classroom snacks for their new classrooms. And I remember that feeling.

It has been seven months since Emma was diagnosed with Lissencephaly. Seizure and spasm free ever since. Emma is blowing us all away. They are so much greater than they were in February. And we are overcome with thankfulness and gratitude and praise for a God who never leaves us, who sustains us, who is still in the business of miracles, and who fills us with incredible HOPE.

The daily happenings of Ryan and Drew . and a little about their parents too. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Tough Mudder and Glow Run. We did our third Tough Mudder with friends in Mesa, AZ. This time we decided to stay a couple of days later to relax and enjoy the Boulders. The whole trip was blast. even the 12 miles of running through mud and doing 21 obstacles. Checking into the Boulders in our Mudder headbands. Cleaned up and heading to dinner. Our view at the pool. 400 later it was a great day by the pool.

The Fun of Our Life with Two Girls! Monday, August 3, 2015. Mary Poppins Musical Theatre Camp. The theme this week was Mary Poppins. They had a blast and it was so fun because a good friend went to camp too. She was so animated and you could really see that she was having fun. She was animated and having fun on stage too.

Thursday, August 7, 2014. Having six weeks or so of Louisiana under our belts, we thought it was time for a vacation. So, we packed up all the crap that we spent so much time unpacking and set off for the beach with Wendy, Chris, and Vivian. Before we left town, the Frenches stopped by for some beignets and coffee.
