Houns Tout Cliff is something of a climb. We set our bodies to Plod Mode, fixed our eyes to the ground, and made our way slowly up to the ridge. Superstitious people might have thought that the mist rolling in from the sea contained the collective souls of those perished in the shipwrecks. It certainly made for an eerie atmosphere as we headed into it, unable to see.
My walk around the British coastline, in stages. Dale looks even prettier with the tide high. I stop to take photos.
This blog traces our slow journey in stages around the U. Next more MOD rifle ranges but the flags were down so we walked through unimpeded.

After what I thought was going to be a difficult nights sleep youths using the street as a racetrack around the hotel! I made my way out of Fraserburgh. As there was is no bridge across the small river that runs into the sea at Cairnbulg I opted to walk along the road instead GC No11 I then turned left down the B9107 and headed towards Inverallochy. Uninspiring prospect, I thought, but get down to it and there is plenty to enjoy on this walk. A strange walk from Hayes and Harlington to Moor Park where I contend not only with the path but with my own character.
