رویکرد اکسپرسیونیستی در شبانه امری غیر قابل انکار است در این جا چند قاب از این فیلم که در راستای همین موضوع است برایتان می گذارم . در این قاب ها نوع نورپردازی و استفاده از سایه ها و نوع بازی بازیگران به نوعی نگاهی به همین نوع سینماست. چند قاب از فیلم تبعید. تنهایی و زوال در چهره 2برادر. بیشتر نماهایی که از خانه می دیدیم یک نمای ثابت بود ولی نگهان دوربین زاویه دید را تغییر داده و خانه. این قاب هم در طول فیلم یک بار دیگ.
