Sunday, November 1, 2015. Day 6 at THE GREATEST QUILT SHOW ON EARTH. Today was our 6th and FINAL day of seeing the 2015 Houston Quilt Market and Festival. I appreciate more than whimsical. Today was Halloween so there were some GREAT costumes. There were quilts that made me laugh.

Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Faces are the hardest part of a doll for me. I always save the face until last! Last summer I took an art class from an Australian artist - Jane Davenport who wrote a book about painting faces. I was SO out of my league but had a wonderful time and learned some about making art. The People Who Lift Me Up. Update on my first clay creation. She now has a finished face and hair! I have named her Baynshee and have added gothy stitches to her mouth. Her name came about as she screams like a banshee to be loved and understood for who she is but no one seems to be listening. I am listening sweet Baynshee, oh yes my darling I am.
