Utah Mom in Mexico. A story about a family that went to Mexico for a year. Thursday, August 6, 2009. In the opposite order of our arrival in Mexico, we left. The kids and I first flying to Utah on July 5th and Dave starting his drive on the 6th. Daves trip was equally uneventful. He did choose a different route home though. Instead of heading for the Laredo, TX border crossing, he took the coast up to Arizona. Tope speed bump warning sign. We wont miss these. Hmmm hard to decide which way to go.CONTENT

Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Building a Castle Cubby House. I saw this castle fort in a backyard of a guest house we stayed in once, and since then I had been dreaming of designing and building our own cubby castle. I love outdoor spaces that let kids use their imagination and have fun. Measuring and cutting the main frame. Then onto building the main frame. The door was attached with strong hinges so it could swing open. Then we had decking and two levels! The fun part, painting time.
