Monday, June 29, 2009. I am always amazed that every time I live abroad there comes a moment when things stop being foreign and become downright commonplace. This took longer then usual here in Vietnam since Hanoi is an absolute assault on the senses. Hanoi is a big city of 6 million people that feels like a small town, a village of winding streets and fascinating small nooks. It was a wonderful place to spend a summer and I look forward to seeing how we both change when we next meet again.
