I started this blog as a way to communicate my philosophy and passion about independent travel with a cane by blind persons. Hopefully, this blog will be thought provoking and will provide a positive influence to students, teachers and the public. Monday, January 17, 2011. I have been considering an issue that recently came to my attention. First I want to say that I come from a consumer perspective when discussing education of blind children and parenting of blind children.
NFB Project STRIVE is dedicated in providing quality programs to help meet the unique needs of blind and visually impaired youth throughout Utah. Project STRIVE instructors are positive, educated, blind adults who are fully dedicated to model, mentor, encourage and teach life, education, and employment readiness skills. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Every day, Monday - Friday, I leave the house around 6am to head off to work for the day. There is typically one or two nights a month that I end up at a meeting and do not make it home until after 8pm.
