Tuesday, December 29, 2009. I am so fortunate to have such a great support system during this difficult time. I have a great family and wonderful friends, some of which I have never met in person. One of my good friends, Coby of CJ Kopec Creations. Has started a knit along. I had my very first chemo treatment today. I am not going to lie, I was scared! I did start knitting on my Manhattan. I am using Bearfoot yarn, which is really warm and I love it! Sunday, December 20, 2009.

I had an amazing birthday last week. I made some super yummy cupcakes. And had a great birthday party at the American Legion with Jill, my parents, and lots of friends. So pretty! Used my ghetto swift to wind the plies for my very first 3-ply yarn.
