A Journal of Our Trip and Work. David arrived home safely late Wednesday, January 27. The following entry covers the last leg of his 2010 Ethiopian work. Friday is our last day of teaching in Hosanna. Today we alternated between the classes.
This week we looked at representation within the media, especially focusing on male and female binary oppositions and how they are represented. Our task was to reflect upon our lipdub and to see how far it reinforced gender stereotypes or challenged the stereotypes.
