Our cleaning maid has a son who is thirteen years old and does not go to school. He is her step-son and his mother sends him to work so that her real son can go to school and live a better life. My mom cooked lunch for one extra person that day.

Saturday, March 11, 2006. It all started with a humbling message on MSN saying that my blog was a lot of fun. That friend, it came to light, had gone through every one of my posts dutifully before doing the decent thing of commenting about it. Whatever dude! I was actually laughing out loud! I did not of course stop with reading the blog.
