Wednesday, December 14, 2016. The Most Wonderful Time of Year! We kicked off the holiday season with a turkey trot here on the ridge, about a week before Thanksgiving. Braedon took off like a banshie and held strong the whole time. My mom, dad, Derek, and myself were all relieved. Over Thanksgiving, Derek introduced us to Catan. I had played it maybe once or twice before wit.

Sunday, July 12, 2015. The ice caves have closed so we wanted to find another fun, short, family hike. We went to Snoqualmie and hiked Franklin Falls. It was a 1 mile hike each way and it was beautiful! We look forward to picking blueberries every year.

My kids, likely remembering the Evergreen State Fair. Which is less than two miles from our home in Snohomish, got excited as well. Theres some pretty good food made as well.
