Friday, July 11, 2014. Uncle Shane comes to visit. Uncle Shane was working in San Antonio and we were so thankful to get an evening with him before he headed home. It was his first time meeting Talia and she loved him right away. She checked him out and decided he was a keeper. Mom and Dad came down and met us for dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant.
Thursday, December 26, 2013. We were all very excited about spending our first Christmas in our new home. Of course Christmas time is very busy for a mom who sings! The GRE Choir sang beautifully this Christmas, and I gave them some pretty challenging stuff! I also had an awesome time with out staff ensemble! I was also given the privilege of leading the children at our church.

Friday, August 14, 2015. The kids and I flew to Utah to visit Mimi, Papa and Craig and Daddy came out to join us a few days later. We always love our summer trips to Utah because we get to escape the heat for a bit. We spend every possible second outside. Craig shot the BB gun with Grady behind the house.

Summer Week Nine.Colorado Part 1. We made it to Colorado Springs on Friday night and walked to dinner. We were up early and headed straight to Garden of the Gods. It was a beautiful hike! Grammy and Poppa joined us for the official tour, and I snapped a picture! A jeep guided us through Colorado Springs with some stops along the way! We then headed to lunch at Manitou and some play before making the drive up the mountain to Breckenridge! Our goal for the first couple of days was to relax and acclimate.CONTENT
