To have a Sci Fi film get a coveted 5 star rating by Empire is no mean feat. It raises expectations, and it sets the mouth watering for some incredible out of this world visuals and plot. Sadly Looper fails to deliver on both counts. A weak plot, mediocre performances, and a missed opportunity dictate the film. The saving grace of the film comes towards the end when we meet the child wit.
