Friday, June 30, 2017. My contract ends today and it was just a two year sort of deal. So now I am going on unemployment for the first time. I am also job-hunting, which is a soul devouring way to spend some time.

Realm of the Lone Grey Squirrel. Day 3 in Iceland and the weather was still occasionally sunny but mostly snow stormy. Any hope of catching a glimpse of the fabled northern lights seemed to be all but lost as all northern light tours had been cancelled for 7 consecutive days on account of poor visibility and driving snow. We consoled ourselves by hiring a Superjeep. Our two snow conquering chariots! Well, getting dressed up.
