December 21, 2011 marked the peaceful passing of Melanie Beard Kau after an eighteen month battle with cancer. Despite the challenges associated with her illness, she remained loving, patient, and filled with gratitude. And handpicked some of the finest musicians in the state. It was kind of a reunion for me to get to reunite. With some that I hadnt seen in a few years. We hosted about 80 band members.
