This is an account of my family and our continued adventures on horse back. This time our destination was to be the Himalayas in the North West province of Yunnan China. Friday, 30 January 2009. First on the list was a trip to Romania, riding over the Carpathian Mountai.
During the summer of 2011, Chris and Melissa Wills travelled to the region of Hutsulshchyna in southwest Ukraine in the Carpathian Mountains. This blog is an account of their story and the people they encountered during their wonderful journey on horseback. During the summer of 2011, Chris and Melissa Wills travelled to Maramures in Northern Romania. This blog is an account of the people they met and the magic of traditional life in Maramures.
