Friday, August 3, 2012. 10 States in 10 Days! Part 1 The North. Well, after the two weeks of driving across America that Ive just had, I just had to post here again! I drove from the top of the country to the bottom, not east to west, but still quite an accomplishment, and quite a bit to see. Overall, I spent time in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and finally into Florida, and hit most of those places for a second time. Its taken me a while to write this post. partly because I have had no Internet. I knew it would be the last. Having learnt to make a home where ever my backpack landed and my head hit the floor has become a skill over the past 6 months but it was really nice to land back at Manchester on a cold, wet grey day, battle through the M61 traffic and get to my mum and dads for a nice sleep.
