Saturday, February 13, 2010. we are expecting twins! It has been a roller coaster few months for us. They are due on May 8th, but being twins we expect to have them mid April. We found out at the most recent ultrasound that we are having a boy and a girl! We are very excited. In fact, from the beginning Aiden has said it was a boy and girl. one for him and one for Alyson. You can actually see their faces in these more recent pictures. Here is Shawn and the kids on his Birthda.

Travis had his back surgery a week before Halloween so Grandma and Grandpa Lake came to help and they got to come do some Halloween stuff with us. Friday, September 25, 2009. It all began as we were driving home from the Sierra Nevada a few weeks ago. We were prepared to house-sit for my parents while they were away in Italy, caring for the dogs and searching for work. As we were entering the LA basin, the El Segundo USD. Gave a call and invited me to a round of upcoming interviews. The first thing I thought when receiving the call was if anything, that this would be good practice for other upcoming interviews.
