The 2016 Trans Africa route has been designed from scratch apart from the now traditional last day run in. There are 12 stages with one rest day after stage 6. The overall distance is 1600 km, with the longest leg being 209km and the shortest 70km. The highest point of the route is 2875 metres at the top of Sani Pass. We are going through 3 remote National Parks Tankwa, Karoo and Mountain Zebra. We traverse the Western Cape, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, Lesotho and Natal.
