Sunday, May 2, 2010. I like going to White Oak Canyon for the waterfalls. Seven of them total, if one takes the long route. There is something just serene about watching the power of waterfalls. The beauty and power to behold in the sight. This time of the year is very pretty viewing- spring time in the Shenandoah. Old Rag is pretty popular, but White Oak notsomuch- so we get some peaceful viewing. Friday, April 30, 2010.

It points out to me again the odd dichotomy I constantly see from any number of my teacher friends on Facebook. Teachers are the bulwarks against stupidity and take extra special care of your precious snowflakes and teach them all they need to know to make it in the world, so you should pay them a lot more than they are already paid.
