Monday, October 11, 2010. Chris and Jenny Come to Chicago. Boat Tour on Chicago River. Sears Tower Sky Deck! After the Marathon, we walked around downtown Chicago to take some pictures. Jennys of course were WAY better than mine, but I still thought these were cute pictures! The buildings downtown were lit up pink for Breast Cancer Awarness Month. The Wrigley Building on the left is my favorite building downtown and Jons favorite building is the Tribune Tower on the right. They both did an AWESOME Job!CONTENT

Saturday, March 13, 2010. Snow melt slicks the drive. Crusty, sedan-sized mounds of road-dusted winter. Leak saturating spring run-off and muddy my way. Our fifth seasonal weather has allowed me to play. Shoulder-high, wood-handled hoe in hand. I push and pull greasy mud with the steel head. Creating veins of silty thaw to empty the ruts of destinations. And ease the tension of the morning playing- pretending. My hoe is working to divert the overflow away from my path.
