Tour de David

I like to take long rides in the country, and write about them here. Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Historic buildings, or more specifically, the water faucets of historic buildings, as well as churches and cemeteries are very important on tours in Texas. Here we have a VERY welcome water stop, mid afternoon on a 135 mile riding day. Shade is a big plus. Links to this post. Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Next up Bikepacking Kokopellis Trail, this May. Links to this post. Friday, July 2, 2010. I have no axe t.

Monday, September 8, 2014. Camping in the southern San Juan Wilderness. Our view as we drank our morning coffee. After that, nothing could really bother us, except the one night when it got cold enough to leave a heavy frost in the morning. But we were well prepared. We passed our time hiking, enjoying the beauty of the surroundings, doing a little prospecting,. Iron mountain, on the road to Treasure Canyon. The big picture of our campsite. Brian made some delicious meals using his makeshift kitchen.
