Just realised my animation is 33 seconds long, According to some course mates they have been told it is compulsory to be between 20-30 seconds and theres a risk of failing if it is not within the brief requirements. Below are a few screen shots from imovie where i created.

This is my final 3D form! I think it responds well to the brief as it involves repetition and it reflects my research. Using the 12 separate pieces attached using double sided tape, I sewed thread around the bottom pieces to connect them as it was very unstable, the tape kept un-sticking and falling out of shape etc. Also attached some thread to some of the points at the top to create a hanging, kind of like a chandelier. Thursday, 5 May 2011. The colour explosions in my work are created by squares being thrown at the pinata. I used photoshop again to simply move and decrease the size of the square in each frame to suggest it moving towards the pinata. I also used photoshop to delete the sections of the pinata which had been destroyed by the squares at various points of my animation. After painting on top of my frames I scanned them in and added them to the sequence. Start of hand drawn animation.

Wednesday, 4 May 2011. I could have easily added in a fade in circle with the word grow using Premiere Pro, but i chose to do this part of the animation using cell also so it would not look out of place, or too smooth at the end of the animation. to do this i simply slowly faded out the tree in each frame. And faded in the circle at the same time. Each frame was drawn in using .
