The adventures of a single, Seattle guy in Eastern Europe. Thursday, November 27, 2008. Well, I made it back in one piece after a really long ride home. On Monday I rode the train back to Prague with Kyle and Abe and then flew right to Amsterdam. My flight to Amsterdam was uneventful and then I spent a short night in Amsterdam at some local hostel. Monday, November 24, 2008.
Monday, October 6, 2008. Well, the trip is officially over. Our flight home last night was uneventful and unfunny. Scott opted for the window seat and left me to the center. No one sat down though so I moved over to the aisle and gave silent thank you to the gods for not delivering a fat dude to my row.
Monday, October 4, 2010. Awesome street performers in Cologne. Check out these three performers in Cologne that we stopped to watch. The found a nice covered alcove that provided great acoustics. Scott recorded this video on his iPhone 4. The sound came out great. Sunday, October 3, 2010. This Delta flight is much better than the last. Going to watch a movie.

Monday, December 24, 2007. Last night I slept through the entire night without encountering a mosquito. The food was mostly incredible, I made some good friends, and a guy gets very used to being saluted every morning. The above photo is me eating raw sugar cane on my last day.
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. The daily Orleans poker tourney is a blast. I have played this tournament in the past and it has a good structure taking about 7 hours to complete. Dealer immediately calls over the Floor Manager who warns DP about both his behavior and attempts to openly collude with the other players against me.
