Thursday, July 29, 2010. This summer we spent 6 weeks in San Ramon California with Travis while he works on a project in the area. We spent every week exploring. We went to Pier 39 in San Francisco the first week. At the Pier looking at the Awesome but smelly Sea Lions. In front of Alcatraz Island.
Sunday, November 18, 2012. Millie is loving 1st grade and is now our night-time reader to the kids, Tristan is learning how to sound out some words and loves pre-school, and Hallie is a little jewel, sweet and loving to all. There are thousands of amazing moments, although small, every day that make us smile.
Heute fand Mias erstes Laternenfest im Kindergarten statt. Sie war ganz schön aufgeregt. Mia war eine der wenigen kleinen Kinder, die eine echte Kerze in ihrer Laterne hatte. Zusammen mit den anderen Kindern ist sie in einer großen Gruppe durch die Straßen gezogen und hat ganz stolz ihre Laterne getragen.

Friday, May 11, 2012. Cotopaxi was the third climb of the trip. Everyone out of the vehicle. No much to see on the barren rock landscape, but there was a cute red fox. What does he find to eat up here? I am just so thankful he made it off safely. The next few days they relaxed in a little town and did a some sight seeing. Monday, October 15, 2012. We went camping columbus day weekend with the costley family at mathews arm. it was amazing, and we went hiking. the view was awesome! Nat and michael, eating hot dogs. Brooke, also eating a hot dog. i forgot to bring jeans, and so i was freezing! Us on our hike. it was long, but really fun. This was one of the water falls.
