Monday, November 25, 2013. I will not die, but live, and tell of the works of the Lord! I had the privilege of publicly offering thanks to God at our church on November 17, 2013. What has God done for me this year? He has saved my life and filled me with His praises. For the past three years I have struggled with depression. It has many causes and may be something I struggle with all my life. But this is my year of joy. The joy of the Gospel.
Sunday, April 26, 2015. For my 30th birthday this past summer, I went backpacking with two friends in the Colorado wilderness. But whenever I recall this sweet truth back to mind, it brings peace and rest to my soul.
It brings us to foreign lands, it pulls us to those so they may hear the gospel, and it leaves us with memories that will always last. It is a life in Him. It is a life beyond ourselves.
