Thursday, March 10, 2011. Downtown near the shore in Vancouver. I discovered this gem by accident really and I was very fortunate, so I wanted to pass it on to my readers. On business at a conference last week I had the good fortune to stay at the Coast Plaza. Hotel on Comox Street, near Denman. Each morning and generally just a really good experience staying here. Back to school means certain things are soon to be regular daily features of our lives again. Like backpacks and desks and homework. Like the school bus and notebooks and forms. Oh the forms! I dread the forms already.
Thursday, June 21, 2012. Well, better late than never. Trying to figure out the proportions was the hardest part. Once, we had the first one done, the second one was a piece of cake. For G-Daddy, we planted a little spice garden. For Pop, we planted a tomato. These went over really well. Monday, December 27, 2010.

Friday, October 21, 2011. I love coupons and thrift shops! Who loves coupons as much as I do? I have been clipping coupons for exactly one year. I am so proud of myself that I was able to keep this up for an entire year. I want to give myself a treat for sticking with it and becoming passionate about coupons. 1 Treat coupons like cash. 2 Set aside several hours each week to collect coupons, scan circulars, and hit the stores.
