However, most people I know are not homophobic, therefore I feel those that do use this term use it as it is what they are accustomed to using to describe somebody who is gay, without thinking of the implications.

Is a circumstance where two or more identifiers in a given namespace or a given scope cannot be unambiguously resolved, and such unambiguous resolution is a requirement of the underlying system. It seems to me that the identifier. Becomes ambiguous when used outside of either heteronormative or LGBT communities. Depending on the community, it can be used positively or negatively. Represents pride, acceptance and love.

Tuesday, November 25, 2008. It sounds to me like they have a woefully incompetent panel of reviewers. What might convince them is pointing out that queer is widely used in official contexts by well recognized institutions.
