Thursday, January 08, 2015. Christmas Dinner on Boxing Day. Christmas was such a happy, happy time. Like last year, we spent it here in Chicago, enjoying the oddly mild weather and our cozy festive apartment. Christmas morning we just cozied up in our pajamas, opened presents and ate traditional family Christmas breads German Braid bread from my side, and Orange Rolls from Alexs! Cheese, Fruit, Crackers. Saturday, November 13, 2010. Genesis 1-5 God the Creator, God the Bully? My husband, son and I made it through the first 5 chapters of Genesis and I was pleasantly shocked that we enjoyed reading it together. What I thought would be a boring half hour of reciting bible verses was actually a lively discussion! In fact, instead of sounding like a wonderful deity to be honored, in the first several chapters of Genesis, God is made out to be a big bully. Why does he need to rest? Where did god appear from? .
