Saturday, 17 September 2011. A Brief Call into Dubai. To get between New Zealand and Durban, South Africa, we flew a slightly convuluted route via Sydney, Bangkok and Dubai, breaking the trip up with a couple of nights in Dubai. The Burj al Arab at Jumeira Beach. Looking up the Creek with the local water taxis. Our visit to Dubai coincided with the first day of Ramadan.
Friday, July 18, 2014. Hoar Frost in Central Otago. It was a frosty morning today in Central Otago. There was an inversion running up the Clutha and as it was clearing it left whiteness in its wake. Friday, June 20, 2014. Blue skies on the first day, grey skies on the second. Today, disappearing grey and burgeoning blue. Happiness is a blue sky.

Monday, May 25, 2009. Flying Breast Peak in January. I wasnt up to flying this day, so I went along as a driver along with a couple of other keen para-groupies. We sat at the top of the hill drinking a rather nice Pinor Noir Rose wine and nibbling some cheese while the lads and ladess took off. It was a perfect day.
