Saturday, August 2, 2014. Fern is training for the Oxfam 100k walk, and so has been determined to get some walking in. I joined her in the sunshine for a stroll along the beach and it was perfection. I slowed Fern down considerably, but enjoyed ambling along by the coast. I then turned in and walked back along the road, stopping to have a snoop at a few churches that I passed, although none seemed open.
