This was the largest of the fish, caught from a swim in which my rod tip almost touched the opposite bank! And then the snow came! Unsure why the is one came out blue? All in all I am really enjoying it, having caught in many different swims and thus far not blanked, landing 17 fish in 8 outings. As the water clears and settles I aim to fine down and fish the stick in suitable swims. Saturday, 17 November 2012. Bit of a catch up.

Its a thumbs up to this fishing lark. He slept blissfully on until about 8am. Other club members began drifting in from about 9am. and with my peg in demand I was packed and away well before midday - a good solid blank, typical start tot a season. Sunday, 23 June 2013. Viernes, 25 de julio de 2014. Volvimos a nuestra zona de pesca más habitual, donde en varias de nuestras jornadas hemos ido logrando pescar alguno de ellos. Este día la suerte solo estuvo de mi parte. El cambio de viento y deriva que estábamos esperando que activara a este dentón. Poco a poco vamos aprendiendo de los cambios, pero todavía hay mucho por aprender.

Wednesday, 29 February 2012. Barbel on the float! I was intending on posting sooner than this, however after a few disappointing sessions this has led to me have little enthusiasm for blogging. Another good result Sunday and a top ten finish is a real possibility.

Last Thursday I gave my presentation for Topple, my kinetic sculpture and final project for ARTS 308. I feel that the presentation was a success and that general audience reaction was positive. Above is a close-up of the winding mechanism. While I had the option of creating a metal pulley system, I chose to make it wood to stay on-theme with the rest of the sculpture.
