Thursday, June 10, 2010. Two years ago today, was referral day! I found out I was going to be a mother not only to one baby from China but two babies from China! Maxine had a twin sister. So I had about 40 days until they were to be placed in my arms. And now today we celebrated with pony practice and Pinkberry. Wednesday, June 10, 2009.
One Hundred Good Wishes Quilt Swaps. Thursday, 16 April 2009. When completing the heart quilt I took part in a a small purple swap. The purple fabrics came from the following people. Thank you all so much. Saturday, 14 March 2009. Tuesday, 28 October 2008. These two fabrics come from Virginia, the green heart fabric from Ed and Tricia Blair from Richmond, and the purple house fabric from the Minyard family, Charlottesville.
These are postings and pictures of all the swaps and gifts that we have recieved from the various Yahoo support groups that I have joined on this long adoption journey. Friday, 13 March 2009. These are the gifts sent from the Zacharias family in November as part of the Think Pink Swap This is the last swap that I took part in for the group WWF, which is a 2006 year LID group. Since returning home I stopped my membership for some of the Yahoo groups, I could no longer keep up! Thursday, 11 September 2008.
Saturday, 12 July 2008. Thank you Pam for the beautiful socks and tights you sent Isabella. She will look adorable in them. This was the last month of the swap and I would like to thank everyone who took part and didnt mind the extra postage to the UK! Monday, 9 June 2008. Would love to see our child running around in these! Now if its a boy! Laura was my hair bow buddy for May, she emailed to say she was running behind but they were worth the wait. Saturday, June 27, 2009. A beautiful package was awaiting Wonky on her arrival home from a hectic week of work last night. It was this gem from The Clunes Strangler that Wonky ordered at the Daylesford Makers Market last month. Thanks Darren - I really love the paisley trim. Is now on Etsy and has super cool stuff.
