Friday, May 17, 2013. Home Away From Home. Home away from home, that is what it felt like going to Hilton Head. It made me realize how much I miss the South, the humidity, the vegetation, the swamp creatures, the FOOD! Dont get me wrong, I love Utah but the South will always be a part of me. Ran into this little guy just off the biking trail. Our next pit stop on our bike tour was the beach. South Beach was beautiful and there was hardly anyone there. The first few days we were up there by ourselves, but everyone started arriving for the fourth of July and our kids had tons of cousins to play with.
