Thursday, October 9, 2014. Give your heavy load to God. Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. We all have a burden of some kind, and we tend to try and carry these by ourselves. In our verse, David, the Psalmist, offers another option - cast the burden on God. The word cast means to throw down. Have you been on a hike, carrying a heavy backpack? This is how it feels when we give God our burdens.
