Saturday, October 15, 2016. Since my last posting, the kingdom of Brewmeisteria has relocated, and the Prince of Distraction and Princess Gingersnap have settled into their school. The Princess is a Freshman, and is happily marching to the beat of her own drum.

Tuesday, September 11, 2012. DIY is cheaper compared to a package tour. We rode a tricycle from the hotel to the port where we will ride the boat for the tour but before that, we stopped by the local market to buy our food. The boatman was kind enough to take our picture.

Alas, the time has come to move to finer and fancier digs. One day a few months ago, I bought the most exquisite malabrigo yarn. Yup We design a twisty, yummy hat.

A House Is Not a Motel. Besides destroying junipers, one of the first things that came to mind was that upon occupation I needed warmth. For me, installing a wood burning stove was an obvious decision. Even before a single shingle was pulled the process to design, research, and purchase everything stove related was underway. From there it was time to build the new hearth. A piece of plywood was cut to the size I wanted for the new hearth.
