I love to start knitting projects, but finishing them is another story. Saturday, July 05, 2008. We moved out of our place in Iowa, went to Texas and picked up the things we had left behind, and now we live in Schaumburg. I may not have a permanent job yet, but I wasted no time finding a new knitting group. In June my knitting group took a trip to The Fold. One of my knitting friends from Texas, Sheryl. I added it to my queue.
Monday, February 11, 2008. I have been working towards my Masters in Library Science so that I can return to education as a school librarian. One of the professors in the program is Dr. Lesesne; her speciality is Young Adult Lit. , and she maintains a blog. I found this there, and thought it was really wonderful. Words, even as few as six at a time, can be powerful.

Monday, August 19, 2013. One of the famous spots in Kyoto. After having a great time in Tokyo, I went back to Kyoto to spend a night before heading back to Osaka for my flight back to Manila. As much as possible I try to avoid touristy spots. But Kyoto is Kyoto, one of the top tourist destination in the whole of Japan so expect tourist everywhere.
