Friday, January 8, 2016. So we bought a house this summer. A cute duplex from the 1940s. We decided to do a little DIY renovation when we moved in and I have been meaning to post before and after pictures since August, but there was always just one more project to do before I wanted to take picture. Then today I just decided that maybe they will never happen so it was good enough. We refinished the floors, added crown modeling, painted, and got a new fan.

Zion, Zion, lovely Zion. Even though our winter has been so spring-like in mildness, we still opted for a nice overnighter jaunt to sunny southern Utah last weekend. She was excited to go and sad when it was over. She has made so much progress through out the summer. Brad had picked up a bunch of sand to fill in holes in our lawn. The kids loved playing in it before it got too hot.
