Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Being able to bite into a piece of bread and come away with the bitten piece remaining inside your mouth. Always and still fascinates me. People with good teeth take this for granted. I used to break bread off using my fingers and put small pieces into my mouth to chew. But all is good with the bite. Saturday, November 12, 2011.

Friday, August 17, 2012. I have been studying French in Quebec, Canada, for the past 6 weeks. This past Monday I seen my orthodontist. She is extremely pleased with the eruption and guidance of the impacted canine. It has erupted a lot since an elastic power chain had been applied back in June! John, here are some pics! .
It includes 4 rounds of braces over 12 years and upper jaw orthognathic advancement. My surgery is 3 days after this blog starts so it will be mostly about my surgery. Saturday, November 8, 2014. Updates - 5 years post-op. Ive gotten an influx of emails with questions and concerns lately, and I thought Id give another update. Its been 5 and a half years since I had jaw surgery. Retainers 4 years since getting my braces off I can go a few days sans retainers without my teeth instantly going crooked. I sleep in my splint about once every 3 weeks - only when I have a bad jaw pain day. My jaw opening is pretty much back to normal - as you can see in the last photo.CONTENT
