Outside of downtown Houston, an Australian artist painted the trunks of a grove of trees with special blue paint. The paint symbolizes the destruction of the rain forests - the blue paint will fade aways , just as the rain forests are fading away. We took the kids and Carson to experience the blue forest. Wednesday, November 12, 2014. He decided that this year was going to be bigger than ever - complete with a band! Word spread and the party indeed was the best one yet. In addition to live music, he hired someone to man his BBQ trailer and we also a photo booth. It was so fun to run into neighbors from other streets wander down ours to see what was going on.

Friday, April 19, 2013. Well, when I stopped blowdrying my hair I heard lots of laughing and lots of loud cheeping. Monday, March 5, 2012. I guess as a quick catch up, we can do a little update on what the McQuiston clan is up to these days. Tyler has made some big changes. He no longer works at the Y, but is now. At the Strauss-Peabody Center as the Fitness and Aquatics Supervisor.
Friday, September 13, 2013. Every Labor Day weekend, my family descends on Miracle Camp. This year was extra interesting because along with my parents, sisters, Josh and me, we had two adopted brothers with us. One of them is actually dating my sister, but the other one was unofficially adopted as my older brother. Having the extra testosterone for the weekend and for half of the weekend, the guys actually had the majority, which they took full. Thanks so much, Bri.
