Monday, October 7, 2013. 2nd trip to Honduras - August 29, 2011- October 7, 2011 - Maddie and Brett meeting Justin for the first time. One of the INFHA workers asks Justin if Mom and Dad are happy. H. E pauses, looks at us, and shakes his head yes. Two years ago today we came home from Honduras with our little 5 year old son. Our prayers had been answered, but today I have much more to be thankful for and I can say hallelujah! Having a little too much fun with Justin washing my car. 1st day of Kindergart.CONTENT

Sunday, October 30, 2011. Our Year of Hope Continues. The next day we did see a specialist and they confirmed what our Dr had seen. The baby had a Cleft Lip and he had a Cleft Palate and the section where the Corpus Collosum should be was not visible. We then were scheduled to see a Brain Specialist at the University of Utah to get a more detailed understanding of what this all meant.
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. The first couple of months were overwhelming and intensely painful. Gradually life resumes and fills our days. We wonder how life will go on without her in our everyday lives.
