I think the compassionate factor that comes standard in women skipped me. Actually, I know it did. And I expect too much of my children. A part of me wishes that I could experience a day in their brain. See how their thought processes work. So that when one of them comes up to them and just randomly smacks the other, I really do know what they were thinking. Jackson woke up one night screaming. My first instinct? Call me sleep nazi. Again, girl side of brain prevailed.

Monday, November 10, 2014. One random Saturday morning Adam and I were talking when he suggested I cut my hair. A fee trims here and there but nothing big. Whoa! The thought surprised me but also intrigued me.

We had one of the coolest nights ever on our last night in Turks and Caicos. We had a beautiful dinner during sunset on the beach. Great way to end an amazing trip. The sunset was amazing on one of our last nights in Turks and Caicos. What an awesome time with great people. I love beauty of a sunset. We had the opportunity to visits one of the most beautiful beaches in the world on Turks and Caicos. White sand and crystal clear water.

Saturday, October 25, 2014. Fall trip to Douglas, Ga. My dad made the kids a tire swing which was so sweet! I remember he made one for me and my brother when we were growing up. I love that my dad does such caring things for his family. We also enjoyed an afternoon at a corn maze and took a hayride! It was really hot but we had a great time! .

Sunday, December 18, 2011. Well what have I not posted in nearly 2 years. Eric and Cindy both graduated from BYU. They moved to Kansas for Chiropractic school. We miss them living close by. They sent us to Cancun for our anniversary. So fun! Mark and Lauren have both graduated from BYU and had a baby boy, Christian, who is now almost 8 months old. And Holly is engaged and getting married in January. We love Phil our son-in-law to be.

Monday, December 12, 2011. While we were in Zion we also had a beach day. We rented a boat and jet skis and just relaxed the day away. Berit and I were in charge of taking out the skis.
