Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Summer in the South. Lots of Planning going on. Loving the Summer down here in the South! And its been a cool one at that! Ive been going down to the River Walk and Marina. Quite a bit with my Planner, Journals, Journaling Supplies,. Love this little cart I found at a garage sale for 2! It goes to the Farmers Market with me every Saturday morning. And it hauls my stuff down to the rivers edge as well! Some fabrics I found to make a simple patchwork quilt for my kitchen!

The Quilting Post

Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Completing other projects in between, I finished this one the last day of February 2015. You can see the beginnings and progress of my piecing in a post HERE. Quilt backings of 108-inches wide make for shorter work. Love not having to piece it! And added an extra row of dolls along with another row of squares. My friend Alice and I long-armed this one, during the short-lived ice storm.

Saturday, November 12, 2011. Of course we had to do a couple of kids crafts with our son too. I bought this little turkey kit at Hobby Lobby for a buck! It was super easy since it was all self-adhesive. We also made a table runner using some old burlap fabric. I cut up some apples to do some stamping. I added a little burlap around the stems to finish them off.

Friday, January 08, 2010. Some Pictures from the holidays. The holidays were really nice this year, a little different, but nice. Nick and I got stuck in the blizzard in Oklahoma on Christmas Eve. We finally made it home on Christmas day. Christmas with my family was great. My nieces and nephews are adorable, and they were all about Christmas this year. It was fun to watch them! I have been terrible with it! Hope everyone had a nice holiday! So, I am fina.
